Abstract
Postoperative cheek cysts have been considered as a complication of Caldwell-Luc¢¥s operation. The Caldwell-Luc¢¥s operation is one of the most common operating procedures of the chronic maxillary sinusitis in Korea. Therefore, there are many reports of postoperative cheek cyst.
We have treated 38 cases (41 sides) of the postoperative cheek cyst during 18 years from 1969 to 1987.
Clinical study about postoperative cheek cyst was performed by the analysis of such clinical data as age, sex, affected side, chief complaints, duration after the initial operation, age at the initial operation, physical signs and operative findings.
